HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Provides ideal cushion protection for delicate items during mailing, shipping and storage
  • Lightweight, neat, clean, non-scratching and recyclable
  • Make sure valuables are securely wrapped with Scotch Cushion Wrap. This is safer than using old newspapers, because the newspaper ink can leave an imprint on your delicate items. Also, if you can feel the item through the wrap, it still needs more protection.
  • Wrap dishes with Scotch Cushion Wrap, and always stand them on edge vertically like vinyl records.

PRODUCT DETAILS:

Ideal cushion protection for valuable and delicate items during mailing, shipping and storage. Made in U.S.A.

No matter how strong the tape, an improper packing job can put your items in jeopardy. These tips will help protect against accidents and indelicate handling.

If you’re sending liquids, make sure that jar or bottle lids are sealed with Scotch Packaging Tape. Then place containers into a plastic bag - should anything happen during shipping, this will help contain any potential mess.

Especially fragile items can be protected by cushioning a smaller box inside of a larger one.

Center fragile items in the middle of the box, and allow for at least 2" of padding around items and 2" of space between items. Scotch Cushion Wrap can help cushion the items from possible damage while filling empty space. It also helps with shock absorption during transport.

If you are shipping paper or cloth items, wrap them with plastic first to guard against spills and wet shipping conditions.

When sending perishable items you want your package to arrive quickly and intact. Paying a little more for next day shipping may be wise if you’re concerned about freshness. It’s also a good idea to let the recipient know when to expect the package. Another way to cut down time in transit is by shipping on Monday or Tuesday, to ensure your goodies don’t spend a weekend in a processing warehouse. Remember to wrap items as tightly as possible, and use lots of packing material to absorb bumps. If you want to keep food cold, you can use dry ice, or gel ice packs and insulate with Styrofoam.
