We have a lot of culinary traditions here in New England and one that we consider essential for so many dishes is tartar sauce. Traditionally, it's a blend of mayonnaise and sweet pickle relish most often served here in Maine with golden fried clams. Our Down East Tartar Sauce is all that and better!
