The Santa Rosa is a partially self-pollinating plum tree that produces large, firm, good quality plums. The fruit ripens in late July/early August to a red color with light yellow flesh. The plums can be eaten fresh or used for canning. The Santa Rose Plum tree requires 600 chill hours. At maturity, it can reach a height of 10 to 12 feet.
