Double Acting Baking Powder is the perfect leavening agent for all quick breads, waffles, pancakes, cakes and other non-yeast baked goods, providing two stages of reaction in your recipes. The first action occurs quickly at room temperature when liquids are added, and the second is a slower action, that occurs at the higher temperatures used in baking.
