Kaltostat® Calcium Sodium Alginate Dressing. These dressings are soft and sterile, and the fiber converts to a firm gel/fiber mat on contact with fluid. For use on moderately to heavily exuding wounds, these dressings are designed to absorb exudate and help control bleeding. For stage I-IV pressure injuries, venous ulcers, arterial and diabetic ulcers, donor sites, superficial burn wounds, lacerations and abrasions, traumatic wounds, & after surgical wound debridement.
