Asherman Chest Seal, 5.5 dia. Use for the treatment of open chest injuries (open pneumothorax or sucking chest wound). Designed for use on open chest of other injuries that could compromise the pleural space of the chest cavity. The asherman chest seal's unique circular design and one-way valve let air and blood escape while preventing re-entry and automatically venting chest wounds. The pressure-sensitive adhesive assures and effective seal and the translucent design allows wound monitoring.
