Grown in central Afghanistan, almonds in the Gurbandi family feature sweetflavor proles, a light color and a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Gurbandialmonds are higher in protein, Omega-3 fatty acids, folate and B2 vitamins thanmost almonds. Like all Afghan almonds, Gurbandi varieties are grown naturallywith no hybridization or manipulation to achieve uniformity – this maintains theirincredible flavor. Delicious as a snack, or make into almond milk, nut butter ordessert.
