These bags are BPI Certified Compostable and will compost in 2 to 4 months in a commercial composting system and 10 to 12 months in a home composting system. A commercial composting facility may not exist in your area. These bags have an expected shelf life of 12 months and should be stored away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and moisture.
