Our Biodynamic® Imperial Green Tea is grown and harvested within the Darjeeling district in India, in small, resilient Putharjhora tea gardens that are over 100 years old. Situated on the southern end of the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains, these small, third-generation, family-owned tea gardens are surrounded by virgin evergreen forests. In the gardens, women are placed in leadership roles to create a culture of empowerment.
